The Cedar Grove Baptist Church was founded in 1903.

It is centrally located in the City of Prichard, Alabama - at 210 West Clark Avenue - near the downtown area, at the corner of Clark Avenue and Love Joy Loop.

It was established to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, teach and practice Christianity, in word and deed, to the effect that others shall be won to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ by our example, and promote orderly and Godly living in the community it serves.
